International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) awarded Schreiber with its inaugural Workplace of the Year Award Jan. 24, 2024.

Co-sponsored by Dairy Processing magazine, the award is given each year to an outstanding IDFA member company that has created policies to promote a positive workplace experience for employees. This includes demonstrating efforts to support women and minorities, create a culture of inclusiveness and respect, support professional development, provide gender pay equality and other criteria.

“This was a competitive year with more submissions than we expected,” said Becky Rasdall, Vice President, Trade Policy and International Affairs for IDFA. “Our external panel felt your submission excelled against the criteria.”

“It feels great to be recognized for our unique story that we worked really hard to build,” said Jenene Calloway, Vice President Talent Development and Chief Diversity Officer. “It’s not DEI or HR that made this happen,” Jenene added. “It’s partners in every area of the business saying, ‘As a partner at Schreiber Foods, I have an obligation to ensure that our workplace is designed for all people to thrive.’”
